The main use case for our Health & Fitness customers is using Medallia Concierge as a primary tool for member engagement. Keeping members up to date with important gym or class information, keeping them motivated to keep coming back and converting free trials into paid memberships can all be accomplished using this starting configuration.

Below is our recommended starting configuration and platform setup for Health & Fitness customers who are new to the Medallia Concierge platform.

KEY INTERACTIONS to think about:

  • Member Engagement (Welcome to the gym! Where did you go? You can do it!)

  • Send a notification that a member’s trial is ending soon, offer incentives and encourage membership!

CONTACT FIELDS to create to capture key attributes:

  • Join Date

  • Membership Type

  • Number of Visits

  • Last Visit

TAGS that can be temporarily applied to individual contacts:

  • New Member

  • Free Trial

  • Yoga

TEMPLATES to create to help standardize replies to FAQs:

  • Welcome Message Template

  • Class Schedule Template

  • Hours Template

  • Membership CXL Request

SEGMENTS to create to help you with grouping your clients by key attributes:

  • New signup segment

  • First Visit, Trial

  • Attend class, didn’t enroll segment

  • Trial ending soon, no signup

ZINGS to create to automate your communication and processes:

  • Welcome Zing

  • Escalation Zing
