Using Medallia Concierge's Anniversary contact field type, you can create contact group and automations based on contact information. Take a look at some of the examples below to see how this works.

Automatically send birthday celebration messages based for interval you like, e.g. today's birthdays, birthdays this week, birthdays this month. In this example, we’ll create a Zing that sends a happy birthday wish to your contacts on their respective birthday.

Start by navigating to Admin > Contact Fields > Create New > Select Type as Anniversary and name the field “Birthday.”

Next, navigate to Contacts > Select + Add Filter > Choose Birthday as your source > Select Is > Input 0 Days ago > Save the Segment as “Birthday Today.”

Now navigate to Zings > Create New Zing > Start From Scratch > Choose a Scheduled trigger > Choose the preferred time for your Zing to run, select Birthday Today as your recipient Segment > Save + Continue > Select the Send Message to Contact action > Type your Birthday message > Save + Finish > Name Your Zing and Turn it On

Proactively send reminders before anniversaries in cases where action is required on behalf of the customer, or as a method of engaging with customers to sell products and services.

In this example we’ll assume the use case of a leasing office at an apartment complex wanting to send an end of lease reminder to each tenant 30 days prior to the end of their term.

Start by navigating to Admin > Contact Fields > Create New > Select Type as Anniversary and name the field “Lease Start Date.”

Next, navigate to Contacts > Select + Add Filter > Choose Lease Start Date as your source > Select Is > Input 30 Days from now > Save the Segment as “Lease Ending Soon”

Now navigate to Zings > Create New Zing > Start From Scratch > Choose a Scheduled trigger > Choose the preferred time for your Zing to run, select Lease Ending Soon as your recipient Segment > Save + Continue > Select the Send Message to Contact action > Type your reminder message > Save + Finish > Name Your Zing and Turn it On
