Group messaging is a feature included in Zingle Standard plans and above. Group messaging allows you to message multiple individuals, Segments, or Tags. Learn how to create Segments and Tags here. Number of contacts messaged at once is limited to 1,000, more on limitations here.

To send a group message, select the +NEW button and select New Message.

Type out the Segment or Tag name, or the name of an individual contact. Segments and Tags will show the number of contacts included. Messages will be sent to the active channels for the selected contacts.

Use the insert custom field option to customize each outgoing message by including the contact's name or any other field stored to their contact record. The example below shows the contacts title and last name inserted in the message:

Note: If you select multiple Segments or Tags and a contact is in both, they will only receive the message once.
