Default data retention details
Contacts & Feeds: 2 years
Messages: 2 years

Dates for Contacts are defined by the date of the most recent inbound or outbound message or attributes last updated. In other words, even if a Contact was created 10 years ago, if they've been updated or have active messaging within 2 years, they will remain.
βMessages
Messages older than two years will be deleted. (even for active contacts)

Even though this data will be deleted from the application database, data will remain within the Analytics database for aggregate reporting.
Canceled customer Accounts and related Services will be retained for 60 days after the cancellation date. During this time, customers can request data export or re-activation of the service to retrieve Contact and Message data. After 60 days, all data will be permanently deleted, except when the contract dictates a different timeline.
