3 Steps to Getting Started

These are things to know from the get-go, start strong!

Welcome to Medallia Concierge! Let's get you started with your new subscription. To access the inbox for the first time, go to your email and look for a message from Medallia Concierge inviting you to the service. Select Join your team to set up credentials.

Important note: Google Chrome is the preferred browser for Medallia Concierge, be sure to access the inbox from a supported internet browser for best results.

Now that you're in, let's go over some great first steps. For more an more in-depth overview, check out the full dashboard overview here.

1. Add a contact and send your first text

Add your first contact by clicking the blue +NEW button closer to top right of your screen.

Fill in the new contact's first name, last name and phone number. Check the box for
Send Message to New Contact. Write a message in the text box and click Save New Contact and Send Message!

2. Set up an Escalation Zing

To ensure that requests never go unanswered, let's set up notifications to be sent when a conversation or request goes unread for a set amount of time. Start by selecting the Zings tab at the top of your screen.

Next, select Create Zing to navigate to the Zing marketplace. Choose which Zing you'd like to add, in this case we'll select the 5 min escalation email Zing.

Select View Zing then Use Zing.

This will pull up the Zing customization screen. You'll see that by default, the Trigger is set to fire the Zing based off the condition that a conversation is unread for 5 minutes. This can be customized based off the amount of time desired before the Zing fires.

Next edit the action, in this case, the Send email action. Input the email of the desired recipient who will receive escalation emails.

Additionally, other actions can be applied. Create a message to go back to the contact or a text message to sent to Management in addition to the email. For more Zing actions and options, review the Automate resources here. For now, select Save + Finish, name the Zing and turn it on.

3. Adding users to your service

Users and permissions can be managed from Service Settings. Click your initials at the top right of your dashboard and Service Settings.

Select Team Members from the left-hand column.

To invite additional users to the service, simply input an email address, select permissions and Invite.
