How to setup and use the Optii Integration

Overview

The Optii integration allows Medallia Concierge users to create housekeeping or service Jobs in Optii directly from Concierge—without needing to log in to Optii separately. This streamlines workflows, speeds up fulfillment, and improves guest satisfaction.

Configuration Guide (Admin Settings)

Navigate to Integrations

  1. Go to Admin Settings > Integrations.

  2. Locate the Optii Integration tile (listed alphabetically).

  3. Click the tile to open the configuration screen.

Connect to Optii

You’ll need:

  • Client ID (provided by Optii)

  • Client Secret (provided by Optii)

  • Room Field Mapping: Choose the contact field that holds the guest’s room number.

  1. Enter required information and Save.


🧰 Creating Jobs in Optii (Agent Workflow)

Forward a Message to Optii

  1. Click the Forward action on a guest message by hovering over the message and clicking the forward icon that appears.

  2. If Optii is connected, you will see it listed as a destination.

Fill Out the Optii Job Form Modal

If the room number (location) is found based on the guest's room number, it will automatically populate.

Options: Low, Medium, High (default), Highest

Mandatory. Options include: Clean, Deliver, Inspect, Repair, etc.

Job Items

Typeahead with quantity

Add multiple items (e.g., 2 robes, 1 towel). At least one item required.

Body

Text area (optional)

Pre-filled with forwarded message content.

✅ Submit & Confirmation

  • On success: “Optii job [jobId] successfully created.”

  • On failure: “Optii job failed: [error message]”

  • A new event appears in the Inbox thread:
    Optii Job [jobId] created – [timestamp]
