Medallia Concierge supports over 90 languages!
The translation feature is included on Professional service and above. Translation recognizes foreign language text and translates it for the Medallia Concierge user. It also allows the Medallia Concierge user to compose a response and have it translated to the received language with a preview of the message before sending.
To turn this on, select your initials at the top of the screen, Admin Settings.
Translations can be toggled on and off from the bottom of the General page.
Once enabled, the auto-translation recognizes any non-English inbound messages and translates them automatically. The message below was sent as "¿Hola, hablas español?" and was automatically translated in the Inbox.
Now the purple banner will appear in the reply box. Type your message and see the auto-translation below. Uncheck "Translate to Spanish" to disable the translation feature.
Once the message has been returned to guest, see that the message goes back out to the contact in their preferred language.
